Dear Prof. Liu:
On behalf of the Chinese-American Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (CASNMMI), we are delighted to inform you that you are elected for the Life-Time Achievement Award, by the Board of the Directors of the Society. The Award Ceremony will be held during the 2019 CASNMMI Annual Meeting, scheduled to be held on June 24 in Anaheim, California, USA, during the 2019 Annual Meeting of SNMMI.
This award is based on your fundamental accomplishments in nuclear medicine and the early time scientific exchange between American and Chinese nuclear medicine community. Your contributions are recognized as a distinguished physician-researcher, as a pioneer, and as an educator with numerous contributions to this field.
This is the consecutive second year that this honor is awarded to distinguished physician and scientist in Mainland China.
We are delighted to invite you, or your trusted representative to deliver a 15-min acceptance lecture during the award ceremony in Anaheim. Your life-time achievements in the fields will certainly inspire a cadre of young scientists and practitioners pursuing a professional career in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
Please note that according to our by-laws, “The Award Ceremony Speech/Presentation can be delivered by the recipient’s representatives, such as a trusted colleague, or former graduate student”. In the event that you won’t be able to attend our ceremony, we would be equally enthusiastic to listen to a presentation given by your designated representative. The representation will include some of your personal photos that document memorable moments in the history of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine, the activity during the early time of Chinese-American Society of Nuclear Medicine, to be shared with attendees at the ceremony.
